I don't know how to break this to you lot, but if you go to GERMANY, then there are corsas and saxos, and hondas and all sorts of other cars from manufacturers all over the world that have German style pressed plates on.

I bet the Germans are laughing their arses off at all the people in this country with German pressed plates and D banding on their cars.

Fair enough, if YOU like it, by all means, stick them on your car, but just because you have a VW, doesn't give you some superior position to criticise someone else who has also put them on theirs (maybe because they think it looks good too?)

German plates look ace

Whatever car it is, it doesn't matter as long as I like it

Opels are manufactured in Germany and therefore have more right than Spanish built Polo to wear them

German plates are a VW thing

VW is a German manufacturer so people have every right to put them on their cars no matter where they are built

A chav car is a chav car, and no matter if they have a right or not to wear German plates, the car still looks shit

They are illegal so who cares?

who gives a monkeys if there running german plates, its there car they have the right to do what they please you know! german plates are not as common as u think now people in the scene are more going towards uk pressed plates!

I recon some of you are missing the point euro style equals euro plates obviously though still wrong on a fezz bomb and a punto which are not german. Might sound daft but its what they will think.

its each to their own, I've put new german plates on my car, but now I'm unsure and might just leave them off till its in shows and stuff....
