Quick go gave me:

Car: Porsche 911 997 GT3

Track: Nürburgring Nordschleife

Time: 8:17.664

Gamertag: Max3h

Lots of room for improvement me thinks, all driver aids on so with them off 8mins is achievable.

thats slow, can get round the ring in my 1.8 16v NA golf (full mods with no turbo or charger, so it's NA) in 8:24

Indeed hence the room for improvement lol. Post your time in a GT3 for a comparison though!

Should do this for us antique owners too

GT4 on the PS2 8-) someone choose a car :-D

My first attempt was off the road more than i was on it lol

Also had a quick look through some of the cars and they got a Karman Ghia on there you fancy giving that a go instead? :-D

As much as i love aircooled dubs, i dont fancy spending all week tootling around the ring in one trying to finish 1 lap

Shall give the supra a go though 8-)

I did it with all driving aids off and stuck some racing super soft tyres on it in time trial, arcade mode.

Yeah i think the ghia only had about 43bhp

i tried to play this but failed miserably as I'm so used to project gotham now

I'm just gonna go try the Supra on GT4

My first attempt, gonna try and get it under 8 minutes, should be possible.

edit: should definately be possible.. just noticed I was using medium tyres

Good time, think i could beat mine easily now i've had some sleep :-D

Good stuff. Supra is SO unstable at speed, managed to hit 167 on the main straight though :D

Can't be bothered running it round the ring again :(

same, I'm too used to sega rally and burnout out for this :(

Just got back now and gave the supra a go

It was erm, INTERESTING  put it this way, if it was real life i`d be dead and my family would have a massive bill for new armco :lol: i was on the grass more too

Still, not a BAD time considering I've not held a controller, let alone played a game for about a year

How do you guys get that screen too? I've just paused mine to get a pic

I can't get my time lower, I keep putting the Supra on the grass, must have got lucky first time round.

Worth starting an "Official Club Polo GT4 Nurburgring thread?"

Just like riding a bike :-D
