best i got:

Supra RZ on SM tyres - 8:18 (all driving aids off)

And thats with a Logitech DFP wheel too. I gave up after about 3 laps mind, will try the R32's later.

glad i have a 60gig ps3 then not had any problems with it yet...

well actually the getaway wouldnt load past level 6 on the ps3 lol

forza2 is where its at till the full version of GT5 bumrapes it...

Yup it does. As soon as you get it it'll ask you to download the update of 'spec II', which has more features inc. drifting.

online races are in order!

To be honest I only just started trying out the whole drifting thing, I've been doing the career. I'm finding it very very difficult though! Any tips? I've tried using different tyres, turning all aids off etc. but still finding it very difficult to control a drift.

Don't get too excited about the online races, I've played in quite a few and it is just full of people purposely trying to make you crash. You spend half the race at the front, and half at the back all because one person purposely sends you in to a spin!

Very expensive, but one of the only ones with a clutch.

drifting is an art mate.... few tips...

easyest car to drive is the r33 skyline gts so get that

turn all traction controll off

abs the lot take everything off use default tyres on front change the back to sport 3

if u can use manual gears use that.

slam brakes on and turn at same time as soon as it locks the brakes get of the brakes and onto the power and floor it and give it some opersite lock untill it starts to slide then when you are in slide just give it the right balance of steering and power.

watch this vid not the best but not bad!

Ah brilliant. Thanks Simmy. I've got in on now so I'll give it a go. I was experimenting with N1-N3 tyres, so shall try it with the ones you said and use the technique you said.

That vids brilliant, I've not once managed to get all the red flags, nearly, but never quite got there!

6th in the world, that is impressive! Yeh the wheel does look amazing, I've been watching the vids too.

I just gave it a go with the rx7, gonna try it with the Skyline now. I'm slowly getting the hang of it, just wish I had more time to play it, got way too much uni work I'm supposed to be doing!

Tried the HPA R32 last night and got a few 7:45's, and there were plenty of hairy moments.

i have recived gt5 prologue 2day so i will be gludded to ps3 lol

GT5 prologue is where its at!!! drifting rules the Blitz skyline rocks on N1 tyres front and rear lots of handbrake is needed to get it in the direction you want it to go tho!

Just tried it after speeding around in the zonda race car it took me a few laps to "adjust" back to a slow car

I had 3 attempts this morning before work :-D

Standard 97 supra on s/m tyres

Have got picture evidence to prove when i find the usb lead

That was with no diriving aids and in manual
