Not finished yet but will prob tomorrow and give it a good polish once it's dried properly.

Charlie had the idea of using patches to repair some old seats she had lying around so after looking for the sewing machine pedal for about half an hour she set to work and here is what she did!

Thats some funky marble finish to that rear badge right there!!

Sure this car will be sick once you have it on the road.

You going to deck the back at all or just leave it all exposed?? looks so much better with the fresh paint on the inside though :-)

Can't wait to come and have a nosey of it in the flesh!!

hahaha gotta love crazy old ladies table cloth repairs ftw

Looks like this has potential, il be interested to see how this comes out. I contemplated reshelling my fresh GT conversion into one of these a while back, but decided i would be murdered by the lads if i did!

Straight up...... would have hanged you.....no messing.

dd u cut the rear seat section out - was looking into this on mine . what have u done and how exactly

You can either drill the spot welds out, or you can cur around it with an angle grinder, then finish off the edges with a dremel. If you have a look at it in situe, you should be able to identify the spotwelds you need to drill :-).

lol kk , has this weakened the cars shell ?? when looking at mine i was assuming this adds strength

looks pimp matey...I'm thinkin of doing something with the inner arches on me golf...I'm not gunna copy though...unless i cant think of something different :p lovin the chequred seats too...should keep them and leave the leather lol :D
