Polo Diecast Model??

Featured Replies

Thats my model lol. Herpa make the 8v smallbumper in 3dr & 5dr. Schabak make a 5dr 1.6 with the sport spec bumpers. I paid £10 for a schabak at ultimate dubs just to nick the bumpers but there moulded, £14 for a red 3dr herpa & I got the yellow one for my birthday last year & modded it.

I would but I cant find enough base models for wheel donors & polo models are thin on the ground unless you want a 9n.

Try model zone theres one in the trafford centre they do millions of minis and sierra cosworths n so on sure they must have a polo in there somewhere

i want one lol do they come in white thats well good

I was daydreaming about making a 1:10 scale one from balsa then using polycarbonate and vacuum forming over the shape of the balsa model, then trimming the polycarbonate and painting it and putting it on a RC chassis.... would be a bit of work but would be pretty cool as once someone has made the mould you can make as many as you like via. vacuum moulding...

...just a thought tho, I sure as hell dont have the time!

Go for it man!! Count me in for the first batch lol.

Dont need a vacuum moulding kit, I've read on ways to do it with a hairdryer, a bucket, and a few modifications!!

lol that sounds like a recipe for something to go wrong lol anything that employs the use of heat and bodging always leads to burning lol
