do a apprenticeship in aircraft engineering like me

thats what iam doing now were are u having you are apprenticship ??

iam doing mine with airbus and hhawker private jets

aah rite wicked, well....mytravel BUT am looking for a job with kinch aviation, servicing private jets

i want my damn B license!

ohi kwl i finished my apprenticship now big wedge in the bank this month hopfully but iam starting to do

my lecnces soon which will take that wedge out :(

i now work at kinch aviation...cessna citations, beechcraft king air's and damn hawkers, stupid planes...overly engineered haha

my CAA log books coming on nicely...just need to do ma B license modules down at bristol city college

kinch are paying for my exams...get to go to america, to do ma type ratings

I'm doing an apprenticeship in vehicle body refinshing (painting an all that). What it envolves is learning to paint, rectifying paint defects, Legislation and loadsa other stfuff to do with getting stuff ready for paint, finishing after being paint, what materials to use for what how paint is made. When I'm finished, in about 6 months, I will be level 3 NVQ, Key skills level 3 and a technical diploma.

haha i was on production hawker 125's but iam working on the big beast that is the a380 now iam on the wing structure tough stuff but fun

it's good but in your 1st year most of the time your just watching or changing tyres and oil or making the coffee lol

I'm at college doing art photography and film studies...

they started out to be NOTHING like i was told we were going to be doing..

but i stuck out the first year, got A's

and now i just started my second year and its like "do what you want to do"

so its awesome!

i say use your free education while its free!

get the most out of it then in later years if your stuck with what to do with yourself youll have loads of qualifications and be able to do pretty much anything!

just stick it out!

I am also looking to get into the motor trade at the moment. Looking at what people have been saying if you are lucky enough to get a Apprenticeship the pay is crap ( at dealers ) but eventually you get better pay. I do not live near any factories so that is out of the question.

Aren't there any other ways of getting into the trade? I have all my GCSE's and I have 2 A levels in Maths and Business and a AS level.

I'm in my 2nd year of my apprenticeship with Volkswagen. i quite like it, although the only let down is the shit pay and a boss who doesnt know what a payrise is. the idea of an apprenticeship is to gain experience in the motor trade so then when youve finished you will be able to work for most dealers without a problem......

if you have high qualifications i would go into uni and study car design and not be an apprentice tbh.

uni is a option but I will have to wait another year! and uni is very expensive.. There must be jobs in the car industry which do not require a degree or lots of experience. I just want to get into a car business possibly at the bottom but start working my way up..
