Haynes also says its harder to take out dials than it is to take out a engine so I don't really follow there difficulty guidelines :D

I suppose if you have the tools and your mechanically minded and you put effort nothing is hard.

None of which I have. Oh well.

looks like rambo pimpd out a dub

Looks awesome mate, i know its not an easy material to work with!

Did you wash it first though? We hung my headliner once and then had to do it again as it was too taught, washing it took out some of the starch and made the fabric easier to work.

Did you get the fabric from Goodies?

Finally if anyone is after glue to do headliners, etc i would stongly recomend using the 3M range of spray on contact adhesives.

I used Scotch Weld 90 on the fabric and then Scotch Weld 76 on the panels i was trimming, leave 15 minutes and put together and bobs your uncle!

Keep up the good work and go crazy with it

Alex

cool mate i like it, the dash surround is schweeeet...

The centre console is pretty easy to take out actually, unplug all the bits like leccy windows, rear heated window etc..take you stereo out, remove the instrament panels and undo the screws.

There is 2screws hidden behind the heater vents at the top, just turn the vents and pop them out.

There is 3 or 4 screws under the bottom, like just behind where the ash tray goes. You will need a short screw driver for these as they are hard to get to.

Other than that, easy!

Thanks for the comments, I was scared what you'd all think. But hey!

And Craig, your right it is so hard to blend in. But you get noticed!!

I hated the colour at first, now me likey! :D
