So where is the meet happening????

the pp meet is same as usual 3.30 this sunday.....but there is a car show a stanford hall also .no point in meeting up to go to it but its a day out by the river ,from what i hear corrado uk have a aneversery stand there........ www.stanfordhallvw.co.uk/home.htm

some of use have decided to meet up and travel down together, so what sort of time would we need to meet at the hilton services to get down to the show say for 11????

OK you lot have twisted my arm i will be at the services at about 9.30 and leave no later than 9.45 ish i think its about a hour away but sat navs at our kids so I'm guessing

Should have taken some more but it was a wet and miserable day weather-wise

Sorry I couldn't make it to this one, but Stanford Hall was very nice and it didn't really rain at all in the East Midlands

However, can I make a suggestion - is there any chance this could move to a pub, or start at the services and convoy to a nearby pub? Its a bit nicer if the weather's not so great, and also you don't have to remortgage your soul for a cup of tea or a coke.

i agree with moving it, it cost me 3 quid for a bottle of oasis and a dairy milk..

but i dont think a pub is really the right venue as its kind of promoting the drinking thing and also that local pub is a bit pokey..

i still think J9 BK was a far better venue as do others...

No, if you actually read the thread (or the thread title) it happened yesterday. Next meet will be June I think.

yeah that was the first sunday of the month, thought they usually happen on the second.... u said it was going to be both ?

No I rescheduled it for this weekend just gone in accordance with the views of several other meet regulars. I did not say it would happen both weekends at any time! They do usually happen on the second Sunday of the month though :-)

havnt been to 1 before.... was going to come along, looks like i gota wait another month which side is it anyway? north or south?
