I've forgotten how nice it is to polish a black car! de-wipered and de-badged the rear this afternoon after shantybeater and alexp had inspected the vehicle!

look at the shine

haha ye sure does...! the cupra is pretty much stripped of everthing and shantybeater has nicked the shiny bits.....but it is perfect for the conversion especially as it has revo1

the soul of the car lives on...:D

good to see bits are being used and not all being thrown in a scrappy! Revo stage 1 was amazing for the car! Totally transformed the power on it! You should take the seats as you mentioned leather was needed for your GTI. Thats if they're still in the car lol

na seats are gone....everything is realy! I've basically bought the engine in the shell and keys!

got a k03s ready to go straight on and also up it to stage3 and a couple of other mods

What suspension set up u going to be running matey? Awful lot of power for a polo! lol, going to be mad! Would love to see this go up the 1/4 mile against Harv's, results would be very interesting! Lets not include Ash's polo in the race eh.. 320 odd bhp sounds foooookin lethal! 8-)

all of it looks good 8-)

good luck with dropping the 1.8T in

  • Author

probably KW's with an arb

i dont think harvs will cause too many problems in a straight line due to the 1.8t being such a more powerful lump but i wouldnt be too confident against it on a b road thrash!!

yes ash's mk4 is in a different league but one day....

just polished mate. we used alot of meguaris next metal polish and the stuff worked great. the shine used to get better and better on it as there was alot of dirt from the engine going on it. give it some good scrubs with that and see how it goes
