£6500 to spend.. what would u buy??

Featured Replies

bit of rwd action!

gota be more fun than the fwd vag stuf. especialy if thats what you are after!

dont get me wrong i love my vags but a fwd 1.8t or vr6 is just boring in comparison to a rwd 2litre turbo

totally agree, but i'd go for a mint mk1 escort, plus unlike most of the other cars in this thread it will be worth more in to years than when you bought it 8-)

id probably have something along the lines of this Audi A4 TDI SE 130 then get it remapped,

or maybe this Audi A8 4.2 V8 Quattro

fabia vrs, fast when uprated abit, reliable and can look sweet.

good MPG and not high insurance.

You can get so much for £6500, depends on what type of car you need. From an older Scooby to a shitty brand new plastic supermini to a restored classic car..

audi s2 and have some cash left to get it to 300bhp

What is going on with that Audi's suspension?

haha i like all your ideads but make that 8K and i would have a 300bhp 1.6 6N2 :)

£8k wont build you a 300bhp 6n2....it will build you a 250bhp one if you are wise

if u talkin a daily i gotta agree with this.

if you get a fabia vrs though you will have good mpg reliability torque and speed, hard to top me thinks ant

same engine i had in my ibiza pd130(but revo'd)

torque is immense, ever felt 321ftlb of torque, throws u back in your seat!

The name Skoda isnt relivant such a good car for the money .. I asume you can spend a bit of money on one too with the price tag and the amount of cars you have had (ie the scoobs insurance) .. Get one and get going with it .. you could build a beast .. try and stick with somthing . It will be worth it in the end .

Not a daily but i have simlar one to this and can promise you wont find better cheaper car for the speed they give! and soooooohooooooo much fun to drive! just remember power - weight ratio ;)

You are the guy who bought a swift? Jeeeeepers...

Got rid of a Starlet for a slower car...then bought a Golf GTi to stop your Polo falling apart...and now you want something fast again....but mentioned an A3 1.8T?

I think you need to find yourself a nice bit of stable pussy, and try and forget about buying a different car every week

gotta agree, thats a gem of a quote

Well going off ants reaction when i bought him a black sambuca in pure the other night i think he may just do that and piss it up the wall (good man i say)

Definately an Ibiza Cupra or VRS, definately

I'd be after a Mitsubishi Galant VR-4 or a Legnum! You can pick good ones up for under £5000 + £1500 for a bit of tweaking!
