BTW i was on about the coolant bottle as uv said you lowered it how does it stay in place? otherwise the strut brace wouldnt of been able to fit in place properly IIRC

ah rite, i made a bracket for it :) holds it well enough :)

Sorry to keep asking questions but made from what? just interested because if i come to fit a strut i don't wanna have problems with it fitting so i'll need to move the coolant bottle.

lol aint a problem mate, its just 2 peices of metal with different sized holes all the way up it, its just something i had lying around in my shed. quite thick stuff. anything will do really aslong as its strong and sturdy.

Good effort cars looking good for not alot of $$$$ and thats a good thing.

i reckon thats the good thing about polo or any car for that matter, spend the most money on the wheels and coilovers and then the rest is all about the subtle stuff (that doesnt cost the earth)

like the idea of the engine cover

looking goo dude, its getting there :D and i will do you a relocated washer bottle ;)

hmm could look good mate, will be better when i see it fitted :p

just not sure on the colour

  • Author

haha cheers dude, i aint 100% sure on the colour yet, i just thought a cream or beige might look cool with some chrome and polished goodies :p

just see what happens though :) going to the scrappers tomorrow for some bits and bobs and doing some more engine tidying :D so will update tomorrow night :D

btw the engine cover looks abit darker after afew more coats and laquer, its taken in the shed there with flash on :(

I think if you keep the beige/ cream with chrome look. it'll probably look bad ass in there! 8-)

Loving the progress as well mate! Keep them coming! :-p
