how much do they weigh out of curiosity?

thought the 1.8 was like 136bhp or something, is that not enough ? I'm intrigued lol

Well the Corrado to have is obviously the VR6. The G60 has reasonable performance as well. Both the 16v's are relatively slow in comparison.

I like them but that example you've bought there ant is a bit of an ugger, too many after market bits.

BBS sound like a good shout.

is the extra 35bhp worth the rediculous fuel and insurance though? cant even get a quote on a rado vr6 till I'm 21, whereas i can go fully comp on a vento vr6 at 19 for £1200

surely it wouldnt be hard or that expensive to get the extra powerz out of the 1.8?

its the only thing out of the VAG stable that would keep me into VWs for the amount of monies i'll have for my next car

Ok got the car back ! AND OMG ITS NICE ! lol ...

Its very fast to!

I dont know if its the fact ure like 10 mm from the floor (abit of an exageration!) but it feels so much faster than the golf and it nocks ure head back in all 5 'quick' gear changes!

Check out the pic section for 2am picture whoring, complimantary of my w800i shit phone haha

good shout on this one i reckon :D

good choice of car, its got so much potential.. :-)

My god Rado`s are ugly cars  but better than mk3 golfs, so well done chap

You can't beat the power delivery of a big 6 cylinder creamy smooth engine. You could eeek out the extra 30bhp from the G60 but it wouldn't really be the same. The noise is almost worth the extra insurance premium on its own.

Personally I think I'd have a G60 as it has a better balance between economy and performance....I think I'd always want the VR though...brrrrrrrrrmmmmmmmmm

lmao walsh u make me giggle :p

You like mr pinky in the botty dont you? :-D

Christian  that writing under your avatar :? what kind of stable is that? stable as in it wont be breaking down and smelling of rot anytime soon? or the funky animal farm stylee horsy punani kind of stable pussy?:lol:

as stock the G60 is slightly slower than the 16v due to the gear ratio.

tbh tho the G60 lump seems pritty shit imo, one of my mates had a G60 mk1 cabby pushing nearly 200hp and got nailed by another mate in my 16v when he had it, he just kept on pulling away from it. so in a heavy corrado in stock form i wouldn't of thought it would be very quick, even that mk1 cabby didn't put you back in the seat how you would expect it to either.

is that cos gibbo drives like a girl?

is that cos gibbo drives like a girl?

possibly, thats who was driving the 16v

was kath in the g60 suckin off a stranger then while at the helm of the wheel

:lol: Some of the comments you come out with Walsh are just proper Classic!

yeh its the 1.8 16v setting off soon to go get! :D

Never mind. My VR6 burbles like nothing else!

Nice though, build youself up to a 2.9, cruising at 130mph from then on!

Good work, owning a Polo and a 'Rado is the only way to go!

no, she was in the mk3 with me and a couple of others ;)

Not sure if I'm a fan?

Looks OK, But something about its bugging me, dont ask what cos i have no idea? lol.

Usually a BIG fan of them too, my dads had a few, including a VR6 Storm :)

Sure you could sway my opinion with a few subtle mods though!

I almost bought a 1.8 16v Corrado

The fact that a 1.4 Corsa will outaccelarate one put me off

Its very fast to!

i'm confused about all these fast cars you've owned, have you ever driven any of them? because if you had you wouldn't be saying that about a 1.8 16v corrado

still born babys have more go in them than 16v corrado's.

Does seem weird that you had all these nice turbo powered jap cars yet you seem abit fixated on slow vw's
