both sets gone. the pink ones ended up going back on a datsun z car again.. the black ones live on a lupo.

still nothing done with the polo I'm affraid.. being a wheelwhore i bought a set of 17s for it.. original stickers and caps. had to have 1 straightened and a quick lick of paint but dont think I'm gonna fit them tho as shouldbe saving money really.

would really suit it and love the way venom spokes poke that little bit but shouldb using my money elsewhere tbh.. shocked i found a set with badges and stickers still on. shouldnt of bought them.

car is double.. head unit is single with air ride controls underneath.

Looks good in silver. I used to have a dark blue 1.9 TDI one about 5 years ago but ended up selling it to fund other projects. I always regretted it cos in the long run it would have probably saved me alot of money! Plus it was awesome.

Some advice to an estate newbie... I've just brought a silver 2001 estate off my uncle for what i think was a bargain price. However, i'm trying to work out the engine. Think it may have had a different plastic engine cover fitted during a service???.

Like i said its a 2001 (51) 1.6 SE petrol. Engine code on logbook says AUR, I'm assuming its the 100bhp engine. However, the plastic cover says 1.6 SR? Anyone shed some light or did the garage just put the wrong cover back on..

the stereo has come out.

shortened tailgate.. stumpy mirrors.. all red rear lights.. old rear lights.. G60 steelies.. T21 DUB plate.. air-ride.. momo steering wheel & gear knob.. new set of coilovers.. wing to swap the dented one over ARE ALL INCULDED!!!

has afew dents n scuffs and the air could do with a refurb. steering rack needs looking at and maybe some new front tyres. has just had a new lower ball joint and lower arm. i was going to take the air off and fit the coilovers and the 17" venoms i had refurbed but have bought another car. wouldbe a great little project for someone. had a mot about a month ago and has 5 months road tax.

Back on topic. These cars are awesome and bits are actually quite easy to come by as the model is shared with the equivelant ibiza cordoba from the seat range. This one is really really cheap and would only need a tiny bit of attention to make it an amazing car again.
