What's the h.u/stereo like mate? Any lag on loading etc.

I'm tempted by that kenwood unit, but i like having the 6 disc changer in the back. can you keep the changer or does it have to go?

I cant fault the head unit. I've used dvd's in it while driving and it doesn't jump. The sat-nav loads up your location straight away.

I don't know about the cd changer as I only use my i-pod so didn't bother with it

Does it play MP3 discs?

@alex2005t: The 6 disc changer can't be connected with an aftermarket unit unfortunately.

went to halfords today to have a look at one (well overpriced at halfords- just short of a grand) and they are amazing!

il start saving.....

The website I mentioned on the 1st page does it for just over £600 I think? But you have to buy i-pod leads seperate

Good job on those rolling pics. Some of those are similar to mine, for example capturing the lettering down the side of the plymouth. I'll put my pics up later :)

Remember to put some masking tape with a couple of marks so you can position it again.

I used a halfords version of Flash Red for the backing and it seems a bit orangey to me

For the VW I used satin black to match my wheels and left it unlaquered.

And here it is. I just need to spray the polo/gti badges but I'm not sure whether to put the polo badge back on?

Get rid of the Polo and Gti badges and get urself a black roof!

I want to keep the Gti badge. The thing with a black roof is it would have to be satin black to match and I just can't see that looking too good
