Is it a 323i? I just got a quote on one the other day and it was just under a grand fully comp as well (19 too). A bit more for a 325i but my current insurer won't touch a 328i :(

The 323s are detuned from the factory I believe? So should be easy to free up a few horses.

Yup, Thats what the m50 manifold is from, the 325 and the one I'm getting is ported along with a fully ported TB and has dyno gains of about 20-25bhp :) + get the twin 328/m3 exhaust full system and thats a good mod.

I'd have an M3 over this anydayy! Its just the insurance fact of not getting one! Here's a few more pics after a marathon cleaning sesh yesterday that took 6hours! The car is 100% shinier and cleaner than before. Even though £20 is getting me 150miles, its still pretty good going.

Oh, 5 mins later down the road I get pulled over and £30 fine for not having a front plate! Sod it though, looks so much better without one!

Its the 170, however, I have just ordered the full fat inlet manifold slightly ported and a Larger TB ported too for £340! That has dyno gains of around 20-25bhp! so will be up with the 190-195 ish bhp :)
