2002 1.2S Not starting

Hi

My daughters 2002 1.2S Polo (112,000 miles) failed to start this week. it has been towed to local VW dealer who diagnosed a timing fault due to the cam chain jumping a tooth, they have estimated approx £800 to fit a new 'cam chain kit'.

However on Ebay at the moment is a 2004 1.2 Mk6 engine with only 18,000 miles for £350.

Would this be a straight swap? Not sure what MK my 2002 is?

Read a couple of threads about changing engines and does not sound to bad a job but need to be sure it will go straight in.

Any advice would be much appreciated.
