[newb]Right, I know a fair bit about cars but as my "hey" thread stated, I'm still learning about some VW stuff, so about stretching your tyres, I can't remember properly but I know that basically either the wheel or the tyre isn't allowed to stick out past the wheel arch? Which is it that isn't allowed to stick out? [/newb]

slow n low, the bitthat is illegal is the tread pattern on the tyres, due to it sticking out of the arch, people use streched tyres so that they can run wide wheels and still have the tread tucked under the arch so that the old bill dont give them points and a fine.

PHAT wheels mate, love the idea, but i think they look wrong on the car. low and wide is one thing but its ott in my view.
