MIM - 195/45/R15 ET13

what is happenin peoples. just thought id share with you ma new wheels seeing as everyone seemed to say my old ones were seriously chavvy. so lemme know what you think.

had issues gettin them on at first, the rear arches were shreading the back tyres due to being so wide so had to get the arches folded n sealed so now rides sweet. handles really well too as the wheels overhang so grips like a go cart. anyway have a butchers......

go into my controls and on bottom left click manage attachments, remove any you don't want to show any more and this will hopefully free up some more MB to upload some more

Velly nice. Front needs to come down a touch, though i suspect that wouldnt be very possible without coilovers and potential inner arch work.

cheers geeza. yeah they diamond cuts, got them from off sum chap in germany, kept lookin out for sumthin like this for months then came across these, not bad for 200 smackers!

yeah everyone sayign that at the moment, thing is its scrapes the arches when braking or turning hard so yeh i defo need coilies n arch work doing but gonna wait till the engine conversion before i do the suspension again

What motor you putting in? Perhaps 195/50's would have aided the tyre+arch situation.

I got some renault turbines stuck in the arches, 185/55/15+40mm+full lock=oops...

Had to jack the car up in the middle of the road and swap them off for steels to put the car back down t'drive.

bruv eveywher i seem to go no1 stocks anythin other then 40s or 45s? where u get you are rubber from?

I'm in abit of a dilema with the engine conversion...id love to keep the stock gt engine coz it runs so sweet n they love to have the nuts revved off em, its funny to see punk peoples faces when you tell em its a 1.3 afta u whoop em in their zetec s fiestas but id love to get a turbo conversion or seriously considering strippin the back out and having S3 engine dropped in....moneys there but dont wanna spoil a classic minter....any ideas?

some 185/45/15 nankangs only brand in that size i have them on my 6.5x15s with plans for them to fit on some 8s when they arrive.

Some 165/50's on the fronts would look trick, maybe a bit overkill tho, 165/50/15 are available in bridgestone and nankang, bridgestone being the better of the 2!

ben i bet offset is similar to mr gt's on our mims

haha yeh all that offset malarky is bit baffling. i know that MIMs r usually silly offsets et13 et15 n they do ones similar to mine but the tips fold in on the outer rim, they do et25s...u had any trouble with the arches? talkin bout silly offsets, u wanna check out dans rims.....sick!

tips fold in I'm confused by that and as for arches.. ermi aint fitted them yet but i do have pics of them on am amtes car :p
