Shame about the engine bay iff its going to be an all out show car .

It is looking super tiday though bet you really are happy with the paintwork.

The Engine bay will be smoothed and sprayed at the same time as i swop the engine over for a 200BHP beast :-D

Love that colour, looks sweet 8-)

Just a thought here, but when you go to shows and introduce yourself etc how are you going to say "yeah, I'm c4a8lGTT off club polo"? without getting a confused look off the person youre speeking too?;)

looks really good, lovely paintwork!

but i'd move the air fiilter from above the manifold, heat rises etc and it'l just be sucking in warm air = a bit of heatsoak etc

I've seen this on polo3 looks sweet, but it needs to be on its arse. What kit are you going to be using?

Didnt realise how much money you have spent on it either!

Wouldn't it have been more cost affective to find a shell that didn't need so much work. Regards the rust and so on?? Plenty of nice cheap mk3 shells out there that would need less work. As you are changing everything on the car including the engine it would not matter what the base model was would it??

£3200 is a bloody lot of money so lets hope big things come from this car and pray that no one ever damages that car in spite as that would be a real toe bang in the danglies.

^^ not negetive comments on the job though. Looks lovely and the colour is really nice and deep and they look like they have done a top quality job on it.

Would you be willing to disclose your engine plans for the car or are you keeping that under wraps for another occasion??

All the best and nice car 8-)

No thats fine comments are welcome.

I got the shell for next to nothing so I'm not complaining, and there was not alot of rust just small spots hear and there, most of the cost was the custom work. :-D

The new engine is sat in my garage at the moment waiting to be upgraded, but as for the final spec that will stay top secret till it is running and in the car. :-D

Niceee :D

There was one up in this colour on eBay this week for £1400

Not as shexy as this one though

Barney he could've went for a mk2 but you're one of the lucky few to find a mint one...... as for a mk4? They rust worse than mk2s and mk3s!!

Nice work dude.

Now please.

Slam it like a dirty slut. lol

Well I'm looking at ordering some coilovers for her at the end of this week if i can get my engine problem sorted.

So keep your eye open for an other slamed ride

Coilovers on a mk3? You must be made of money!! Good luck keep us all informed!!

Maybe a bit of back-to-black on them bumpers too?

Thats really nice mate love the deep blue, looking to be one of the best mrk 3s in the end :-D

HOw much on body work?!?! looks good, will it be a show car or drag/track weapon?
