OK the reason is I have a court appearance on Friday, I can tell her because of the problems it will cause... and trust me there are some. I just need to disable my car tomorrow so it looks innocent and out of the blue. Something quick I can do at a services that will end in me being transported home.

And another thing...I can safely say that your are at least 17 due to the fact you drive so grow up. according to a mate if you plant your foot while driving along and then switch the engine off for a couple of seconds then start it again you can get the exhaust to blow off. then conviniantly crushed by a truck.

80mph into 2nd as if using engine braking to slow down, not really advisable on a busy road, but if you try hard enough you'll bend the clutch lever inside the gearbox. Did it on my Corsa. Still moveable, Still running, no gears, no motion.

I would suggest driving about 80 and slotting the car into 2nd, but I've done that a couple of times in the golf and the rev counter shot past 8k and sat on the stop for about 3 seconds while the revs dropped, and was fine. And I do believe the 1.3 in the Mk4 is pretty much the same engine.

Maybe 90 and into 2nd would do it, gotta be 10-11k+ revs!

start the car up in the petrol station put it into first and put a brick on the accelotor and then lay on the road about 10 meters in front of the car. not only will u wreck the car ull wreck ureself aswell. its sort of like a buy one get one free kinda of offer

if you need to breakdown convincingly maybe cos there might be someone in the car who's benefit all this is for, the best thing to do is, at about 50 or 60 accidently put it into 1st gear, only do this if the road is clear both ways, as front wheels may lock up, but will guarantee to fuck the engine and be a right good laugh aswell, then all you have to say is "oops silly me"
