I will try to make it guys but I need a new box on the cheap. If not I might be able to come down in another car (Rover 25) lol.

hobnob get it sorted, get a gearbox and i'll fit it for £100! couzens get a head, head gasket and cambelt and i'll do that for £100 too.

Couzens is gettin his sorted 2day. I am gunna call Blackbush now ok??

Been there they want £150 and they dont even have a 1.4.

i've owned a few 1300's with 2e3's which as everyone knows are turd so have had to rebuild them.

i do have a book which lists the spec and tuning of most production carbs and a webber manual you're welcome to borrow.

what did you have in mind when you said tune? re jet or set up/balance?

Well TBH could be with a rebuild and a balance as they seem to be running very rich on idle and I'm getting around 14 MPG when doing town driving. There are twin 40 DCOM's but i think they are similar to DCOE's however I've never car running carbs before so know jack shit

as long as they're jetted right then they should be fairly easy to set up, i'll check in the book tonight.

if you want to borrow it then give me a nudge before no rice and i'll bring it with me fella.
