We've just bought a big fcuk off 9 man tent....

I drove back from Northampton last week in 6hrs, if you only stop once it makes the journey so much quicker...also not having wait for people...or cars falling apart...

Possibly but if you aren't camping then there isn't any point in going IMO

Camping is one of the best parts about it, I did actually think about buying one of those hammock things to sleep in but I don't trust Toby, he might take advantage of me while I sleep

Yeah thats what we are all doing, just pay at the gate only an extra £5 over booking early I think.

i cood not care if it took 6 hours i will be siting at a stedy 60-70 and if some ones car brakes will help them. its not a race..

ye thats the whole idear about a convoy. i remember last year me and and where told that "we are not waiting around for you coss you have the trailer we wont to get home faster" so me and andy left sat at a stedy 65 70 and who made it up the road first??

you will nead to bring food with you, tent, drink(not neaded but helps) and eny other stuff you might nead for camping

orite yeah neva been before but i know ross from creiff so might come down if all going well way the new engine as it is gettin done the week before the show

I hope at least some of you can book in advance, I know I'm starting to sound like a broken record but this place books in extra loos and showers etc dependant on the number of people booked in, as there is only one permanent block. so if loads of people turn up that haven't booked its not going to be the best... they will also lay on a beer tent, and possibly a hog roast if enough people have booked. we don't have a marquee this year so if it rains and there is no beer tent the only place to go will be the bar, and that wont take long to fill up.

another thing to bear in mind is the fact that its the Le mans weekend and they may get crazy busy, if they do we will end up with loads of randoms being booked onto our field if the rest of the site gets full, which means we may get complained at! also from an organisation point of view if we have some idea of how many people to expect we can mark out the space a lot better. We just need some help trying to secure as much field as possible as the clubs already reserved a fair few plots but we can't afford any more.
