They are the speedbumps form hell i know were there are a few of these nocking around Derby

Stop people parking on the kerb???? so now we are loosing pavement space, and road space, by making the road smaller and more vulnerable to accidents

and fact is any run of mill car can scale those kerbs easy...

I dont work for highways, if you could read you'd see that I'm a BUILDING surveyor but know the people in highways and asked them, hence my answer to the thread.

Your issue with drainage (gutters are on your house numb nuts) is un-informed aswell i can see, the drainage system in our country was developed back in the late 20th century to accommodate the increase in trading and therefore was not designed to cope with the rain fall we see nowadays, most of the drainage in country is inadequate but it would cost in excess of 8 billion to bring it all up to standard, however i can see your hurt by this drainage issue so maybe you should start a petition to sort it ?!?!? Pmsl

Also what specialist trade are you in then to warrant an attack on people who work in civil engineering as its a very skilled and complicated carreer path ? Manager of the local "Spar" ? Bloody muppet
