hiya there love the conversion :) do you have any info on the install for the 16v as considering this for a mk2 golf.

gearbox etc combo n what other goodies are needed or need to be modded

pretty sure hes rocking a gt box with a gt fly as its a fair bit lighter than the 16v fly

oh and its also got a roll cage now

Very similar engine block as all early polos... fits to 085 gearbox, so fitting the polo drive shafts are, no issue. Use the early polo fly wheel and starter.. If you run carbs, use ealry ignition, the one found on mk2 coupe s etc, plum carbs up via suitable pump. Change oil pressure and water temp to early type.

This engine is found in a polo 6n 1.4 16v not mk2 golf - which is a completely different engine
