can someone tell me then if i pay for next day delivery how long is it acceptable to wait?

I'd say next day... the clue is in the name but anything over that isnt cool..

it is royal mail who is the delivery company.

anyway back to the OP there is nothing that admin can do. you have just got to persist am in the lucky position of being able to get my money back one way or another, and more if i like, but things shouldnt get to that stage if the seller accepts payment he/she should post it the same/next day otherwise let the buyer know when it will be posted. if this is not the case please correct me

maybe, or maybe it could be that they haven't read it yet? but either way they can not by law give out any personal details including his e-mail.

It's nothing to do with being in the "inner circle" or that I couldn't be bothered to reply. I simply haven't been on a lot until today and I have many other PM's to go through as well as yours Steve. But as you have now put this thread up I will give my reply on here.

I can always try and send an email to him to ask him to contact you, however this is as much as I can (and am willing) to do. I am very sorry that you have paid for something and it has not arrived and you have not heard from the seller, however, we do state in our parts for sale and cars for sale sections that buying and selling is at your own risk as we have no authority to do anything about agreements that go wrong.

It would be really nice if members would have a little more patience with us in waiting for our replies to PM's, we do have day jobs as well as looking after this forum and if you ask many of the Admin team they very rarely get to look at any of the forum other than going through their PM's and the other tasks that they carry out every time they log on.

i didnt expect anything other than an email or possibly pass his email addy onto me ( not like i was asking for bank details ) i fully understand its not cp 's fault if a sale goes wrong, i just didnt think it was such an issue to ask for a little help
