btw i saw you asked about what i was doing splitting the wheels, i have had the centres refurbed to a powdercoated silvery/grey with matt laquer sounds weird but i din't want them shiny i wanted a contrast and something different and making the rear wheels wider by replacing the inner wheel (i will update on here soon should be back together at the weekend)

Correct me if I’m wrong but a wheel that measures 9" i.e. like your 6.5 + 2.5 it is actually an 8j wheel?

For a 9j wheel the wheel measures 10" from edge to edge?

no because when you measure a wheel i.e. 6.5" that is not measuring the lip/edge of the wheel so the total width of the new barrel is 7"s but when you ask for them to be made up its printed as 6.5".

a 9j wheel is actaully 10 inches wide becauuse the lipsare 1/2 and inch, so the total is a 9j wheel

Thats the thing though my dish's are only 2", 8 " in total so if i was to do the same as you i'd have to basically buy two full wheels :sad:

yeh not really worth it then 8.5 i think that would be good, are you going to keep 185-45s on 8.5s or put a 195-45??

Currently running 185 nankang front 195 toyo back

When i go to 8.5" i'll keep the 195's but get nankang to keep a similar stretch front to back!

you will be running the same combination of tyres and sizes as me then il jus have a tiny lil more stretch, good old nankang gotta love them really
