Yes coupe S just means that you get better seats, steering wheel and a rev counter. They came in 1.3 with either a 4 or 5 speed box iirc. They are much nicer than the poverty spec models though :-)

not much else to say really, great lookin car, just that back in black would look ten times better, like the idea of white rims thougth, bit different, maybe have the rim black or red?

the rims were that coulour in the 1st place i wouldnt of chose white

car looks well clean mate, as said black badges and grilles would look far better, and removing your gash little halfords dub sticker is a winner too. anyone who knows its a dub will know its a dub, anyone who doesnt will think your a tool for having dub on the back of your car.

wheels look class, i wouldnt bother lowering it as your a new driver and the insurance will be killer if you declare it.

other things that need to go, rear windscreen wiper and the alpine sticker on the back that says steal me i have a good stereo

pressed plates would look good, just noticed the aftermarket glass sunroof *cries*

They look sweet in Tornado red,its just like my old one,but its ruined with some tacky vandalism. Not hard to put right - id remove the badges/grille and brush them with Nitromors Automotive (car-plastics friendly paint remover). The rear lights could be saved with a mild tint. Loose the dub and Alpine tat,sweet.

Clear or amber side repeaters.

This is my old one,and what yours would look like with the right grille and the factory skinny alloys..

i have all the right bits for it i just dont choose too put them on because were it is my grill would just get stolen lol the car needs too go as i cant afford the insurance onnit 2 grand for thirt party fire n theft

You need to call a few more insurance companies,me thinks,and not the monkeys on the telly - try Adrian Flux,Lancaster and Brentacre. You can try some classic insurers,but even if they'd cover you,it wont be considered a classic until the facelifted version is.

trials 27 I'm in the same situation as youim 17 and i cant afford my nsurance everywhere wanted about 3-5 thousand £'s cause i got 3 point trying to insure a 1.3 but i have bin searching around and the co-op quoted me £2239 try it and see before you give up the car eh :-) :grin:

Loose the chav Sticker (Alpine) loose the badges - or go back to black and silver ones, get a badgeless grille (if you can find one) and it will look 10x better IMO.

Less is more, you dont have to go to Halfords and spend £50 on as many things as possible for you to stand out!

Keep up the good work with the cleaning and polishing though!
