Had nothing on saturday night so drove to Oban from the Borders and back with the burd about 320miles .

I do it all the time.

Don't go far (atm, due to clutch problems lol) but before id go miles for no reason.

Get a few mates in the car, some junk to eat n drink n just go lol.

Staying out till the early hours is always good, roads are dead!

my 50 mile driv through the hills last night cost me £20 worth of petrol and a £30 penalty notice.. well worth it though...

In january this year, my birthday in fact, had 1/2 a days holiday got home and took my G40 out. What and epic!

Went for miles, found some stunning lanes, drove like a man posessed and cooked my brakes!!!!

About 6:30-8:30 this morning. Cant beat a sunday morning wander.

I didnt go particularly far,stayed within radius of the surrounding towns,but it was nice to re-capture a little appreciation for roads often taken for granted.

a couple of weeks ago, i came back from kingston via the back roads around guildford etc. There are some awesome roads around there, rinsed my petrol though lol

had a amzing drive last fri when i split with my mrs so 4 m8s went for a run ended up doing over 300 miles of welsh back roads !!!

first thing I'm doin when i get my car on the road is going on a mahoosive drive somewhere because i aint drove a car on the road since october last year when i blew my polo up,been going caraaaazy wantin to drive my golf.... somewhere far away i think.use a full tank of juice.....

Wouldn't call it a drive but I picked mine up from the bodyshop today morning after a whole week. Been driving a Toyota Previa in the meantime :(

So instead of bring the car home which is about 800 yards away, I drove around for 20mins before bringing it home!

Never really go out for a drive, usually just make an excuse to go somewhere and then take the longer route. Its usually the silly road trips with mates which feel like we're just making excuses for a long trip. Something like a total of 100-200 mile trips!

I have a probable drive to south eastern Poland on the cards during the next fortnight,which is relatively random given the scale. Stunning scenery,i'll be taking the mountain bike.

Last night i fitted a banjo joint to the back of the head so that i could fit both pressure senders, seeing as the AEE only has one space.

I was in a rush and forgot to put one of the copper seals on, i started driving and pulled up for some red bull, noticed a long trail of oil.... big puddle under the car, opened the bonnet and it had pissed out. Luckily i found the seal in my tool box and fitted it. The worse thing was i had to buy a top up oil bottle and I'm not even going to say what i paid for it although i made a big mess of their forcourt which actually made me feel better. Anyway it spoilt the drive as my freshly cleaned engine was covered in oil and smoking.

I have just spent a few hours stripping the inlet off and jet washing it. Carn't have it looking like an old engine...
