Here's a quick couple of snaps of my rear LED Hella's.

Got them from VREDPOLO.

Wanted them to complete the around LED look. Fronts, sides & now rears. Will get some better pics up soon, once the weather sorts it self out.

Forgot to state that I had to alter the lights to get the correct bulbs working. Removed the red and clear filters and added a red bulb for my fog light. Still wont pass an MOT but at least the bulbs do the correct job. Also now my reverse light is twice as bright which helps having only one.

Finaly received my colour coded badge from 3LL1077 from UK-POLOS and found time to fit it.

I altered the cold feed slightly to bring it nearer to the filter and here's a pic of where I fed one of them from,

Well the K&N filter did make the car feel more responsive and did give quite a nice sound in the high revs but i've decided to take it out (after 3 days) and upgrade to a BMC CDA. Which is on order as you read!

Replacing the K&N with a BMC CDA (when it arrives) and changing the chrome rear badge to a black one to match the rear lights. Pics up soon...........

Yeah exact fit mate. Just remove the two screws and replace the grab handle with the sunglasses holder.

Just picked up my x-mas present from my girlfriend.......

Well I finally received my BMC CDA and cold air feed and fitted it yesterday. I much prefer the look of under my bonnet compared to the K&N. The performance seems about the same possibly better, slightly more responsive than standard. But it would be a lot more effective and efficient. The noise is also pretty good. A nice deep note at high revs.

Haven't updated this thread in a while, so here's an update from my UK Polo's thread:

Here's another two little extras i've got.....

I removed the chome badge and bought a black badge and added it to the colour coded rear.

Also found a black mirrored finish 3rd brake light to match the black hella's as suggested. Have fitted it and does look a lot better now 8) .

Took some pics while doing it but it got too dark. So the two below are just where I drilled the hole. I will post the completed pics up tomorrow, and hopefully clean it! I agree performance and efficiency will be increased but the noise will be quieter. I ended up cutting off 530mm of pipe! Just under half I think.

Here's the pics of where I moved the cold air feed to.

I was working on the car this morning and after driving in the rain last night I found a lot of water sat in the cold air feed and wet half way up. Not sure if its possible but there could be a risk of it sucking water in (dry at the filter end though) and the water is going to cause the inside of the pipe, where the metal coil is exposed to rust. So I moving it to next to the battery or back to its original position. One bonus. Noise is back.

Bought another little mod to neaten up the rear. A rear aero wiper. Had one that used the original arm but that looked awful so got rid of that. Then found this. Had to do a minor alteration but now fits a treat. Works better than the standard one did with a new blade. Will post pics up of the rear soon.
