Finally today at about 12ish saw some paint on the car and wow :) I like it a lot

Got all my supplies out

3 litres of high build primer

yellow.orange and white colourants

bucket and chucked it all in until i found a nice colour

TADAAAAA one paint colour (with some left over for touch ups)

Heres a few snaps of the colour for you folks until i unmask and rebuild it all up tommorow

ENJOY!

Still have got to flake and paint the roof but running low on cash so thats got to wait for now :( but should be all together and lowered and tracked and cambered by 12 tommorow hopefully.

hmm lacquer i do believe would be better...? but its damn nice now! i REAAAALY like matte colours at the minute

yeah I'm feeling the flats and hey if i get bored then ill laquer it but till then flat and away :) plus i got the flake and purple roof to do yet so will look a bit better, just ordered flake,clear fronts and some paint so should b here monday to get done then :)

dude seen as your smoothing it may be abit late BUT why not smooth the filler flap finger hole :p that would be preety cool i think :-)

was going to but time isnt with me on this one but might get onto it later in the month have reading and action to do so will be busy but guess ill have time for it :) it does make the sides look a whole bunch smoother i think

Your paint will chip and scratch very easily. Lacquer it. You can get matt lacquer and seriously you wouldnt know it was on itll look the same.

i know you can matt laquer i have run a few cars with primer jobs before and they hold up ok, plus i like the kinda ratty faded ass look they get after a few washes :)

1st...did you only use 240 and 600 and then paint? no other grades?

2nd question, did you just clean the dust from the wet n drying off with water?

Is it just me that thinks the paint looks slightky like creasote on a new fence ?? lol .

The car is looking cool ithink the roof will set it off and maybee some nice rims with purple centres too
