I was thinking of ordering up a set of fully legal pressed plates anyway.

I don't get people with Puntos and Saxo's with German plates, i guess its just a sheep thing .

as said tho theres no way of stopping people buying them from over seas.

its not really tho is it. lowering a car is some thing that has a purpose. where as changing the style of lights/number plates has no benefits other than looks, plus they are both simple and cheap mods that tend to be some of the first to be done to a car so you tend to see standard looking cars going around with mods like lexus lights or German plates.

yes it is mr k, it makes me almost ashamed to tell people i own a vw. owning a certain kind of car makes you no better than some who owns a different kind of car, if that was the case we would be looked down upon by so many more people than we would be able to look down on.

allow german plates, pressed uk font all the way ! not had a spot of bother from the rozzers

i'm running silver and black plates at the min, i've not had any bother either. the thing is tho there will probably be a crack down soon if they are out lawing the sale of them.

I like the look of German plates but they are becoming overdone now. Think that copper did me a favour pulling me over. The fact Saxo drivers and neds in general are using the same font just makes me cringe
