I know that I said I wouldn't update till I finished but whatever I've just added the final skim of filler and rubbed it down and finished it using wet and dry now it's finished. I tried to use as less filler as possible and I think I did a pretty good job tbh, quite pleased :-D

No thats just been hosed down afterwards to wash off the dust from sanding the filler.

You should never put water over filler it's poores and will absorb moisture witch could lend to micro blisters

And there very hard to get rid and look like shite lol

Tbh the bumpers been sat in the garden for the past few months in that state, it's seen rain,sun, snow, ice, hail, probably lightning lol its seen it all and it looks the same as when I first did it.

Lol it's only were it was filled / primed that will absorb the moisture you will only see the effects after a repaint and even then it could be weeks or months down the line lol

No don't get me wrong I'm just giving you a bit of advice buddy it might never happen it's just I do body work and it can happen if filler primer and bare metal it subjeted to moisture over a period of time wasn't being smart lol I like the fact you doing something different with a valver bumper instead of the norm vents are nice touch

Lol I wasn't trying to be arsey mate. I appreciate the advice dont get me wrong, I'm no pro on bodywork that's for sure haha. Learn as i go really lol

Looking forward to this..

Went out in the freezing cold today for some unbeknown reason I got the urge to mess with my bumper.

Got sanding and finally decided to put a layer of primer on top so i could tell how even and neat it was, and to kind of show how it'll look finished. Needs more work still.

I'm going to be doing this on weekends as I'm quite busy ATM

Also need my exhaust to sell so i can get these wheels sent off but I've had no interest yet which I'm suprised at tbh :(

Anyway decided I'd try out this 3m carbon fibre wrap, had some time this afternoon,

Might try some other bits, (mirror covers, console surround) etc....

Carbon bits look great how you do your fan dial surround I've been trying to do mine for ages

Stick the wrap on then using some heat, heat it up so the wrap goes all flexible and soft and just mark the holes with your fingers then use a scalpel or stanly knife. Takes time to do the little holes but it's not too hard.

That looks sweet bud really like it I'm defo doing mine now . Just done one of my stubby mirrors that was hard work trying to work it around the casing but done it just one to go then maybe do the roof tomorrow lol . Dave

Yeah did you use any heat? Definatly helps with the corners and curves. I've actually decided I'm gonna do my roof now. Good luck doing yours lol.
