Going to rub down the joins and fill them tommorow, I'm going to be wrapping the surround so as long as its flat and straight then that'll do me

Really like this man, liking all the stuff you're doing yourself :)

Cheers dude. I like to experiment  even though I fuck most of the stuff up haha

Been looking at your car sits very nice on the wheels. :)

effort dude! I wish i limited my insantity to the inside and not to fcuking up brand new paint jobs like mine! ...BUT i like where this is going, make mistakes then fix them and make it better then new! only way people learn :) too much bitching and smack talk not to do it...

I agree with you mate, luckily the bodywork isn't the best so If I did mess with it and ultimately fuck it up it wouldn't matter  Cheers dude :)

Now I just need to test fit, wrap it and chop up the air duct inside the dash :( and finally save up for a double din stereo

Also I added some aluminium strips to my doorcards to cover up the lines

Cheers dude, Primed and just gave it a coat of matte black, as you can see not the best filler and sand job  but as I said its getting wrapped so it didn't need to be perfect. Just hope it fits  should do as the measurements add up. :ninja:

Needed to buy more wrap because the bits I had left weren't big enough. :(

Always wanted to run a double din and never thought of the best way to go about it.

But think you've nailed it ;)

Cheers mate, the way I've done it means that the centre heaters had to go but I'll also have to chop the air ducts down as the double din is 17cm deep so it'll sit quite far into the dash.

Wiggy has done it but placed it where the heater dials are but I didnt fancy having to get rid of them.

So just incase you didn't know, SALFORDS A SHITHOLE!!!!

Car has been broken into behind the uni. As you can see theyve bent the door enough to be able to get the door pin up. Tried to hot wire it but failed. Still drives and doesn't seem too much damage to the lock or column.

Also they raided the glovebox which is full of crap and decided not to take the cd player or amp lol

Tbh It doesn't look like they had a clue what they were doing lol smack heads probably.

what a bunch of fuckers! feel for you man! least it drives fine!

unluck mate, salford is a bit of a dodgy place

Did they manage to snap the steering lock? if they didnt what was the point in trying to hotwire it :retard:

  • Author

Cheers guys. Looks like they've tried to snap the steering lock, that's why my steering wheel isn't straight anymore lol.

Must of got disturbed in the end that's why nothing was taken.

Fucking wankers . I feel for you mate . Mine was done over a month or so ago and they took all my stereo but didn't damage anything but smashed the back window . Hope you get it sorted mate . Dave

fucking bastards, its amazing how scum like that can just see a nice car and automatically think rob it thankfully the damage isnt to bad

  • Author

Cheers dudes. Just purchased a new windscreen wiper stalk and steering column cowel.

Seems as though they've bent the column abit, even though the wheel is straight the column isn't. The stalks either side don't like up, basically the indicator stalk is sitting higher than normal. :( can get them for quite cheap but it's effort to fit

What absolute bastards! Hope its not too much hassle to fix mate nice car that :)
