Well hope everyone had a good crimbo, bro got a new digi slr for christmas so i thought id take some snaps of my ongoing project

When the weather gets better in the new year ill get some proper photos done of the car.

Brembo Max discs have come, still waiting on the pads but they are coming from Venom so you never know

really want to get them on now.

Also cant wait for the wheel refurb now, i think it's somthing different to the norm.

Day off today and bored so routing through the shed and found some tint spray and i had some 8v rear lights under my bed so i decided to tint them,

masked the indicators in brown tape as i didnt have any masking tape

i think i might put them on now instead of the all red rears as they match the fronts. What you lot think?

Haha that's what boredom does, it's not like you'll even be able to see it when they're on the car either :lol

flattenned them down and applied a couple of coats of lacquer today so going to put them on at some point,

these came today too finally

and 4 of these came the other week ready to whip them on when the wheels get refurbed

I've also got some new wishbones with some powerflex inner and outer bushes and i thought i might aswel replace the tie rod ends too so i've got some of them, they are all to go on whilst the brakes get done. hopefully getting some bodywork done too before summer.

Going to be quite busy in the next couple of months me thinks.

reppin the 195/45/14's

So i aqquired some 6n2 stubbies, one was silver and the other unpainted. Now the options were either cc them white like the car or gloss black, but i thought nahhhh so i decided to go with the black textured look. They're not on the car yet but will probably put them on tomorrow. Think they came out ok. :-)

also after a couple of trips to the scrappies i couldn't manage to find any black visors so i decided just to spray my ones,

really need to book the wheels in too, so hopefully i'll manage to get of my arse and do that soon.

Just dropped my wheels off at The Wheel Specialist, should have them back by tommorow afternoon :-D

How did you spray your visors? They look pretty good.

One of them is half matte black but I ran out so I finished them with black bumper paint, same finish.

Well went to pick my wheels up today, they look mint but came out slightly lighter than id hope but theyll do. I reckon in the summer ill take them back down to darken them abit, but anyway heres the pics.

They're Dark Bronze.

Wing mirrors to match?

Tar fellas, They look abit orangey in the sunlight so ill defo get them darkened at some point,

wing mirrors I've only just sprayed black but now I've just got the wheels done i might consider cc them.

definatly need to lower the front down a tad.

a colour i would have never considered, i say leave them as they are, any darker & they might not have such impact

although now if i was you i would swap the indicators for clear ones, looks a bit funny with the wheels

I always liked the look of the standard ones so I might tint them slightly to darken them abit.

how much work was it getting the stubby mirrors to fit? they electric?
