Hi there, just bought a 1996 1.4 as a project, got it pretty much together for MOT, but have a problem with the drivers side door speaker, which won't work. It works when connected directly to the dash speaker, which leads me to believe the wiring to the door is faulty. there is some kind of connector blocking access to the door cable path. Does anyone know of an easy route or method to run a new cable to the door without breaking the rubber cable protector, or damaging the connector block? Does that make any sense to anyone?

Any help appreciated,
