FWIW I was told by the previous owner that my GT has a PhilJ 40/40 kit fitted.

Heres mine, lowered on the 80/60 kit, rear on the middle notch.

Spec's of the wheels are

Front- 13x7 et.20 175/50

Rear- 13x8 et.0 175/50

40mm all round on 15s running 165/50s

I dont get something! Everybody keeps saying how the rears are on the middle notch and the fronts are at a set height........................ why on earth does the rears of most of these cars still sit lower than the front then?

The back mostly always sits lower because before the days of power steering they designed the suspension in such away to make the steering lighter, this meant the front being higher than the back. I dont know the full technical ins and outs of it all. Thats what i was told by a mate anyway.

Here's some of mine

Its got 80mm springs and lowering top caps up front and I think its down 50 or 60 at the back. On standard steels with balloon tires :)
