he does have a point about that stupid hinge grease though... it is best to wipe it off as it doesent half mess up cloths!

but by looking after his last one, he made a fucking killing on it when it was re-sold, he didn't lose half as much in depreciation, and it sold almost instantly.

Personally i think its fuckin' flash, much as i dislike vauxhalls, the level of skill and knowledge involved in that detail is nothing short of outstanding. And if i remember correctly, isn't he trying to get 3 coats of wax on it a week or something? trying to get over 50 layers in the next 6 months or something. Okay thats over the top, but hell, he's practically famous for his last car, this one is doing the forum rounds even quicker.

3 coats a day i think it was  50 odd in a few weeks, cant remember exact figures though.

engine bay looks fucking gash if you ask me.

Makes me sick seeing someone clean their car that much LOL but hats off to him for doing it! That's what you call attention to detail!! 8-) outcome is amazing!

Fuck me :-o

Now all he's gotta do is dis-assemble the car, vacum wrap each individual component, cryogenically freeze it, and have a legion of immortal space marines stand guard around it incase a breeze should be generated by someone turning their head to look at the car.

Pretty clean car though :p

ITS A NEW CAR!!!!!

he is never going to be able to drive that car...because what if the bad dirt fairy comes along and gets his car dirty!!

heaven forbid a bird ever shits on his car!!!

all it need now if for his missis (if he got one which i doubt) to go out and kurb an alloy...Would make my day :D

also if he so hell bent on everything being perfect...GET A HAIR CUT AND HAVE A SHAVE YOU SCRUFFY C*NT :)

angers me that someone can have such a good driving car and dont drive it...such a waste tbh...its like people that have ferraris and put 10miles a year on them :(

Also dont playing under bonnet and changing stuff (even VERY VERY minor) invalidate warrenty...i hope so :)

Does he actually have OCD? Or just "Obsessive Car Detailer" as he calls it?

the guy uses bottled mineral oil to rinse his car off with

Does he? No wonder he spends so long on it. :-p

  id be too scared to touch that after all that let alone DRIVE it.

tis a nice car though

fucking mechaphiles

You don't know squat mate do you?

If it gets dirty? so what? you just wash it off with a pressure washer. The amount of wax products on that car mean that dirt will not bond to the paint, it'll just wash straight off. He washes it 3 times a week so its never that dirty.

Its his daily drive i think you'll find as well. So what if his missus (which he has got) kurbs an alloy? you simply get it replaced. shit happens, he won't top himself over it.

And i doubt he's hell bent on everything being perfect, he's just fooking good at what he knows best, detailing.

How do you know he doesn't drive it?

Bell end.

still a tad sad tho,

bell end

i do believe mr drummer is a fellow car cleaning whore, hats off to you :p

you'd better believe it captain.

It would seem i'm one of the few on here who appreciates detailing for what it actually is.

LMFAO :lol::lol:

Also, in one of the pics he has his BARE hand (not some super dirt evading Polyethylene weaved nylon glove) resting on the dirty gravely floor  what if when he stood up, a minute grain of dust blew from his hand and onto his triple conditioned lamb skin mit whilst he was cleaning it?:-(

No pics of my car fully detailed up, mainly due to the gearbox blowing up before i've had chance. it was meant to go to the bodyshop tomorrow morning to get the rust fixed, but i cant afford that now so detailing will have to do.

but here's a link to some pictures of all my gear, to show you i'm serious

Never met the guy in my life, but i know of him and what he can do with a detailing stick. hell, he was one of the lot that inspired me into detailing.

we're not bothered about dust matey, we have special feather dusters for that.

It's funny cos he said he didn't want to fit an intercooler because it would mean taking front bumper off, and he didn't want to do that incase it got marked slightly... Yet he went and ripped the whole interior out to fit a nasty sound system

I think he'd be physically sick if he saw my car! Fair play though- (to use an old classic) whatever floats your boat!

I dont see why everyone is giving this guy such a hard time...

If he wants to spend his time cleaning his car then so be it.

Obviously its a bit OTT, but so is a lot of things that car enthusiasts do.

i guess OCD runs in his family
