they are 7.5 with 195/45 on the front

and

9 with 215/40 on the rear

Good stuff. I would have loved to squeeze the 9's onto mine...

or maybe you'd rather play?

where u stashed the x-box???

looks good !! think the night need some laquer so they go shiney !!

I think the rear lights would look really good if you just had the brake lights in red but the rest as black. Looks really cool here but looks a bit gash when there off if I'm honest

i love the lights. althought i wouldnt have gone AS dark as that. Just get some laquer on them so they match the shinyness of the rest of the car.

i agree with kanaspam, and get soem lacquer on them to get them shiny ;)

xbox :-o

Yeah, I think maybe they're a bit too dark, but still look cool.

Did you buy the lights and black them out yourself or what?

yeah i bought them and gave them a light smoke... then i got home from work one day and caught my dad spraying them... his excuse was "i didn't think they were dark enough, and i thought they looked a bit brown" i was raging. lol no unwanted attention from the police yet though, C.I.D went past me twice today and pulled two other cars and left me to it... so far so good

this is how i left them... how i WANTED them:

getting the car ready for winter now after having an absolute nightmare yesterday with the car. Had 5 people in it (the band) which was already a bad start and a car full of gear ready for reheasal in glenrothes, needless to say dude to the poke on the rear wheels there are big grooves of missing rubber on my tyres, and a nice lining of flaked paint on the arches :(

so i took a trek up to halfords this morning and got some primer and rattle can spray at a good price (thanks to a mate ;) ) to prep the winter steelies. Went up to my dads work to collect these and took the tyres off:

(apologies for the rubbish phone photos, i forgot the camera)

gave them a quick wash with some brakefluid spray (dad's idea):

gave them a wipe down and a quick coat of primer:

got another few coats of primer on after having a fag break:

waited a while for the primer to dry, so we fixed the annoying rattle from under the bonnet which was the air intake hose surround rattling against the holder as one of the clips had snapped, a bodge job clip was levered in place (no pics) after that was done we got the first coat of pimping white spray on:

had another fag break and gave the car an oil topup, water topup and some fresh screenwash :)

then got onto giving the wheels a few more coats of gloss white:

going back up later on to give the wheels a few coats of laquer, then going back up tomorrow to pop the wheels on and do a few other things to the car ;)

finally getting round to get ready for winter

I'm never to sure on white wheels tbh. Especially during winter, I'd want grey wheels so they don't show up the dirt as much!

i went for white cause its pimp, and it will give me motivation to clean the car as often as i can over these dark dirty months ahead ;)

white wheels ftmfw all year round boiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii :ninja:

car looks schweet, needs some stance attention though, tell the band to get their own rides next time :p

Jamie

not really a fan of the original wheels tbh, needs a sharp slap from the lowering stick!

jamie - cheers, over winter I'm getting the arches pulled and rolled so when the 9's go back on it can get slammed down, the car will hopefully be slammed on the winters :)

xcore - I'm not a fan of them either, but i was just using what i had, and thought i would spruce them up a bit :)

i really like them steels, but then again i have a fetish :ninja: for steelies hehe.... wish they did that pattern in 4x100 in 14's :D

ha ha, whatever floats your boat mate... adaptors? i have no idea whether these are 14 or 15, anyone know?

I imagine they're 14", only because the ones on mine are and on the 9N/9N3 at least they didn't put 15" steels on them?

These steels can look alright, apart from the little holes for the clips on the wheel trims.

Fluorescent yellow could have looked crazy I reckon.

lol, flourescent yellow ain't really my thing mate, and i doubt it would suit the car, i ain't even sure the white will suit the car, but at least it will be easy enough to change if it doesnt

white wheels in winter will be funny
