Just a bit of advise for you, i went for the cheapie £200 coilovers for my 6n2

they are shockingly bad! seriously you feel every single bump and after half an hour end up with a banging headache.

We also have a polo estate which has £600 coilovers on KW's i think they are. they are fantastic! can definatly tell the difference.

i'd reccomend them to anyone.

Save up and get decent ones! or if you only have £200 i'd say just get some new springs and shockers.

thats my 2p anyway!

Are they split wheel trims?

get on of them money cans (the ones you have to open with a can opener) and everytime you nip to halfords and see something cheap, dont buy it and put the money in the tin

dont tint your rear lights they look good all red as they are,

or to get some money you could sell your original lights and get some 6n ones and tint them ?

why not just lower it instead of gay mudguards

Must say i agree though, Mudguards look chavvy as fuck.

do they bollocks. genuine mudlflaps are awesome, and practical.

On a more serious note dont get led rear lights as they look WANK keep the rear lights standard, take off the mudguards and drop it on its arse.with the wheels, loose the wheel trims cos they always look gay n just clean the steels.

I agree, it would look pretty tast slammed on steel wheels, over crappy looking plastic hub caps.

Bit of a cheeky reply mate...anyways i don't have mudguards on it...I've got coilovers so yes it will be getting slammed. Wheel trims are also off and i'm running it on steels atm & i will be respraying them satin black. As for the LED rear lights...here's the ones i was going to get (notice i didnt say INSTALL?)

Its all just peoples opinions at the end of the day.

I still recon it'l look cleaner without the LED's, they just dont float my boat.i think the silver car n satin black steels will work, an even better option if u dont want alloys n want to go a bit different is to get some new beetle steels and clean them up. Never seen them on a 6n2 so it would stand out.tis exactly wt i'll do if i ever get a 6n2

Welcome to the forum. Can't say its to my taste but your the one who has to drive it so as long as your happy with it!

I remember the days when people didn't turn into complete arseholes because someone didn't have 'scene' car. Which is a shame cause a lot of people who had valid things to say have stopped posting because there was/is so much garbage posted on here.

I agree - the forum's changed a lot since I joined back in '05 !

Think you have to give the guy a chance, we all do silly things when we first start modding - perfection comes with time...

as polocsv said we all do bad mod's when we start out,, i drove a white p reg corsa with big silver m3 mirrors... tha lookd realy shit

Look much better if you keep the VW badge on the rear... just the badge nothing else look good

Personally i would of just kept it standard and slammed it.

Not a fan of modding on a budget and randomly sticking things on it.

Put the VW badge back on the back til you get it smoothed properly, looks shit with the recess from the badge still there, vw badge looks much better.

And please get some more red rear lights

Either way, your car your choice, looks a lot better slammed though. :)

why o why would you tint them all red rear lights they're fine as they are...

Right guys...been a while since i have updated lol.....i have now put a K&N induction kit in it and have 15" wolfrace octane alloy wheels...been slightly raised due to some problems but sits nicely.

I am being offered 13" ATS Classics....what do you think guys? Should i go for it or keep these wheels?

Hopefully getting the tailgate completely smoothed and resprayed with a solenoid kit installed aswell...

i reckon the classics would look too small tbh mate, duno if you're still considering getting the bad boy bonnet extension, but it doubt that'd look right either wheels look fine atm, i say lower it a tad more and get the bonnet bra, should be looking sweet
