1341cc 1991 polo g40

Featured Replies

I've owned this car for 5 years and spent thousands on it.. but only on the bits you don't really see..

Cosmetically the exterior is pretty ratty, but all solid, The passenger door could do with spraying, as well as the rear arches will need a bit work to get them looking good. The small red dots you can see in the photo's is anti rust primer where i have treated some surface rust before it gets any worse..

Oil has been changed every 5k with syntha silver, and i only run it on optimax, or super..

The 40 has done 155k but on 132K the engine was completely re-built to a high spec by Steve at PSD, (see specs, i have all paperwork 5k) just before that i replaced every electrical part of the ignition system, coil, amp, dizzy, etc.. All part of an expensive fault finding process.. In the last year it's had both fuel pumps replaced too. Chargers done 25k since last re-build, (every 30-35K) and has been regularly been greased...

At the club polo RR day It ran 175bhp @ 5900ish i have the slip...
