You wash the Volvo?

never about washing your car especially in the winter!

Its a tidy car. Other than the raped splitter and where my mate had a head on crash with it on a pit bike. He left a couple of dents in the bonnet

getting stoned to wash car top notch that lol. i do that at work with the pressure washer or get the valeter to polish it for me when i got to a meet lol

the automated textile ones are okay, since they use fabric spinning things.

the other ones use fucking nylon(hard plastic at least).

i got stuck in the car wash once, and opened my window to feel the brushes.. its just plastic wires! VERY bad for your paint.

in any event, wash and wax by hand brings best results, and really helps in the cars relationship,

i mean...its the same with girls: sure a vibrator is quicker, and easier ,but by hand is much better and more genuine

Couldnt resist by the way:

I only use the jet wash (only use the brush for the sills and wheels) when I can't be arsed to get the bucket out or if it's to cold to do it.

I need to do my last proper wash before it gets nasty and cold (double wash full wheel/ arch and trim clean and polish and supper polish and vac inside)

Just hand wash it :-)

You wash the Volvo?

he machine polishes it too! :ninja:

shinier than a shiny thing now!

burna your avater pic is immense

top photography there dude :D

Last time i used the brush thing at a Jetwash my car went from being a "Polo GT" to an "olo GT"... :-(

hahaa

so it broke the badge?

its all one piece init

Unless the pipe was extremely rotten or it had been installed using blu-tac and chewing gum I'd find that very unlikely that one of those machines could rip an exhaust pipe off the car.

The most it would do is knock it off the hangers, in which case the hanger must have been in a bad state before, but even that is extremely unlikely.

i dunno man they had to close one at my local garage cos it was tearing the spare wheels off the back of jeeps...

Never go to an auto car wash, your car will look like youve washed it with a brick. Never go to an attended car wash either. Get a decent wash mitt and shampoo and do it yourself it doesnt take much time.

If you dont have wash facilities at your house the best thing to do is use the jet wash at a garage but bring your wash mitt with you so you dont have to use the shitty brush thing there.

Yeah. I managed to find the P on the floor, so i still have it, but haven't gotten round to fixing it yet. Luckily it wasn't my summer badge....

Thats right, i have a winter badge and a summer badge...

player!

whats the difference between the badges then dude??? colour or summit?

Winter one is matt black, summer one has "Polo" in silver and "GT" in red 8-)

I put my golf through a car wash and they had a power cut, ripped my front grille out.. when the power came back on it pulled my spoiler off and also bent the rear wiper.... NEVER AGAIN!!!! although i clamied £186.. WOOP!

i wouldn't let anyone else wash my car, i like doing it myself and i know its a proper job then and you don't find any scratches

Agreed, no one washes my car.

Not even myself normally

i hate washing cars YAWN!!! matt paint ftw
