mate i cant work out how u have attached the suction pad to the tripod. You've got the dual ones yea? Whats the secret?

EDIT: Just read your flickr...is that reli with electrical tape? I cant believe it holds as well as that. What speed did u do when u drove? Did u crawl or do like a normal 5-10 in a car park?

haha yeah electrical tape,, although the handles of the suction cups are hollow and the tripod leg is a pretty snug fit in there. then i have a clamp on th front and back of the handle, then the electrical tape just to make sure the clamps dont fall off, or the tripod legs slides out. for the 2 second exposure pics i did about 1-2 mph (the speedo needle didnt even move), i travelled no more than 30ft in 20/30 seconds

Ah, so the tripod leg fits in the tube lik bit on the suction cup? Then you clamped it and used electrical tape to make it even stronger? I wanna do this, you got a link to the ones you bought?

to be honest, i got these from my dads work, they are made of aluminium and are by the company draper, so they are good quality ones, this is the closet thing i can find on ebay

almost the same thing, slightly less carrying capacity, but like I've said befor, i dont thing 80kg is entirly accurate. there are a lot of plastic bodied lifters on for around 5 quid each, duno how strong they are
