I'm an MG/Rover fan really, in fact I will be getting rid of the polo soon.

I have a 1.8 Rover 114 GTa

any plans for the red one mate, I'm not a fan of std metros tbh :?

i recognise most of your cars, is that red bmw still in huddersfield tommo?

i see it a few times without the stripe?

Sold it to a mate in Silsden. There seems to be a shed load of E30's kicking round Huddersfield, where abouts do you live?

probably not you guys' cup of tea but just got shut of my beloved land rover

The guy I sold it to has killed it already, drove it in water that came 3/4 of the way up the windscreen and the fuel tank induced a load. :crybaby:

WHYYYYY did you sell it?

new owner deserves a slap!!!

Such a sexual car covered in mud :p haha

Soon to add a 90 or a disco to that group shot when I can afford it :D :D

Good time to buy a land rover. Get a 90, much better investment than a disco and suddenly everyone you know will want a ride in it.

I sold it because I couldnt afford to run the land rover and work on another project at the same time. And the off-roading got a bit too serious, all the fun goes out of it when you get to the level I got to, Driving tracks where you had to bend your doors and wings and rip mirrors and lights off just to get through, driving side slopes where misplacing a wheel could tip you over.

If this wasnt a polo forum I would post some pictures of it properly dirty!

Nice 15 window split, what year is it?

I've had a few in my time so get pretty anal about them :paranoid:

hahaha, now that I'm not sure i agree with, if you get a non abused engine the a series are or can be just as reliable as a polo of the same age imo. beauty is within the eye of the beholder, it wouldnt do if everyone liked the same thing would it.

loving the barge kam :D

DSCF5754.jpg

awesome! I love big K series Metros/100's. Is it a VVC one?

I'm an MG Rover fan deep down, and was sad to see them go :(

They did stop building real Rovers when the P6 was discontinued though! (No the SD1 was not a proper Rover, it was a rushed bodge job that started the downhill descent the the Rover marque took till its last breath)

cant believe how low that volvo is

cut springs FTW

FTL, if anyone else did it then it would be ohhh noo its dangerous yoru going to kill someone, but cz kam's done it and hes ''high up'' then its accepted. sorry I'm not feelin it but I'm never in newcastle so I'm ok, it looks good though :D

loving the metros!! my mates currently looking to build a modded turbo. really want one now, and keep it as a proper OAP sleeper

In 1993 i bought a 1988 Metro, and in less than a year id got through a rear subframe, three CV joints and two engines - snapping the crankshaft in both cases.

The three-bearing A-series is rubbish (and were little better in my minis - with a holed piston in one).

I love the nostalgia in seeing one, though - there's a mint C reg City a couple of miles from me,though its out of use.
