Cheers buddy :) Its just a solid cam lump, but still pretty quick and fun. Surprises a few people, especially as it still looks standardish.

Plans for the new one are, wide wheels, drop it and maybe an exhaust.

I love that volvo, dont care if its got sponges where the springs should be. I should think volvo bumpstops are pretty good anyway lol.

As for metro's and 3 bearing cranks... My mate has just built a mini with a turbo metro engine in with a saab turbo on. I predicted it would blow up at 10psi, Its just survived a days drag racing at 18psi! been at 18 psi for a month now with no bother.

So if you see a standard looking beige mini with holes in the bonnet you might want to think twice before racing it lol.

TBH Mikey, it's only partly because of the cost. I'm gutting out the entire interior for a refit and saving for a new engine.
