mk2 golf gti 8v, fresh ticket and tax!

Featured Replies

Here we have for sale is my mk2 golf gti 8v on a ‘G’ plate so what’s that 1990,

For its age the car is fantastic,

Spec:

* 12months MOT, 6 months Tax

* 1800 8v which was rebuilt by the previous owner, replaced with a 2litre bottom end, which makes the thing fly! I have no receipts or proof of this by the way but when you drive it you will notice!

* Fully service history upto 100k, Now at 135k regularly serviced but again by previous owners as they where enthusiasts.

* sitting low on fk coilovers (6 months ‘ish’ old)

* 14’ Scala alloy wheels polished with brand spanking new falken tyres (not even 20 miles on them!)

* Recent exhaust, brand new middle box (just bought as was required for the mot)

* Also For the mot it needed New windscreen, pads and anti roll bar links, all been replaced  Just had recent battery also.

* Seats are in fantastic condition with no fading 2 tiny fag burns in the driver’s seat and I mean tiny, but still damm smokers! 

* Quick shift not sure of make but is great once you get used to it!

Parts that come with but not fitted to the car, German pressed plates, yellow headlights (not my cup of tea) and the front splitter, looks great but i have an unforgiving housing estate which takes no prisoners!

Like I say it’s a very tidy example of a mk2 gti, as you would expect from a 18yr old car its not perfect BUT it is very well looked after and with little effort could be a minter!

As it wouldn’t be a normal car without bad bits! As said for its age it has usual scratches here and there and the odd ding, tiny bit of surface rust in the boot shut, which can easily be sorted, but the car is solid, and probably the most solid mk2 you will get for your money without spending ££££’s more on a rebuilt or minter! also the interior sun roof panel could do with replacing or touching up, no leaks or anything silly like that, just the interior cover is a bit tatty.

Any questions give me a shout, sure I have forgot loads but will put up when need be, i will post some interior pics when I get chance to give it a hoover,

Price £1250 which I think with 12 months ticked and 6months tax is a bargain!

P/x’s Welcome am looking for something newer, or small van, standard non-standard it doesn’t matter just let me know what you got!

Oh yeah am located in milton keynes 2 mins off junction 14 off the m1, and my mobile istry anytime if i am asleep then its off!

Now the eye candy!
