A bit worried about hjow i'm going to do the arch work. but i am slamming it. anything else you think i should do?

got your spring kit yet dude ?

i havnt ordered them yet mate, i'm not sure what stance i should be aiming for, what kit do you reckon i should go for?, i cant drop it too much at the rear, but i want it slammed at the front...

60/40 would be good but 60's not enough for the front, if i get a 80/60 kit, can i just wack the springs on the front, along with the shocks, and then just put the shocks on the back and not the springs? cant find anywhere who can do the rear archwork!

what do we reckon?

Cheers

phil j are adjustable at the back iirc. i would go 70mm front and about 60 at the rear but u could adjust the rear if u wanted to stop scrubbing e.c.t

yeh like said abouv phil j kits are adustable they can go 20mm higher that they are said to be get a 60/80 and just ajust the rear to what heigt u want .

mines at 60 60 atm but damm i want it lowerr :(

EDIT :

actualy he dose a kit that includes 80mm front springs and dampers and rear coilovers

this will look awesome on the floor :D

Thats cool man, well how i stands at the moment is...

Parents need my car MOT'd and everything to make sure i'm not wasting my money (blasphemy) lol

spark lugs put in, bumpers back then old wheels put on for MOT and new battery, BUT we want to buy the battery nearer March, for when I'm driving due to the 1 year warrantee. Back box / exhaust fitted.

SOO apparently i have to wait a while before my kit is ordered.

i will update when i hear of anything. cheers guys.

just buy it with out them know i always do it.

dad hates me for it but loves it in the end. i baught a mk2 polo coupe a while back he always said no more cars bla bla bla.i went and baught it with in a day he was out there helping me clean it saying how good it was e.c.t.

i never understand parents

So, i got my bumpers back today after a good 3 months. and i have to say a total waste of 50 squid. so my parents surprised me and bought me new ones for my birthday soon. so should have them fitted soon looking all nice and new. Anyone want some MK2 bumpers? for sale.

leave the bumpers off.

looks so tough.

@Matt G.

Look at my car. It is 60mm lowerd down at the front and 40mm at the back. In my opinion it is enough, and it looks really good.

Just a quick up date for your guys...

I had my old bumpers sprayed by a friend and i have to say i was appalled by the state he returned them in. My parents then realised i was very disappointed, so have bought me new MK2 bumpers as an early birthday present. These pictures do not do it any justice at all, but you get the idea. The rear still needs tidying before bumper goes on. I have got my locking wheel nuts and also a new battery, meaning all it needs now is MOT!!!

and a healthy introduction to the ground! haha...
