Nah, me think you is confuzzled haha! I originally wasn't going to have a back box, so it was built straight throgh without and just the end I wanted and liked - That failed as she sounded like 3 tractors

So Saturday morning, I went and got a new back box, which I wasn't that keen on at first but now like, only problem now is she's still too loud, so a mid box needs to go back in which is hopefully gonna compress her a wee bit more and make her sound just right

Thanks! Fingers crossed all is gonna be good now, well I hope it is after paying for a custom built one I don't want an epic fail, loss off £300 and then to have to go and buy a whole new system for her! Just need to get another box in her and hopefully that will shut her up, problem solved!

It isn't a silly large bore...

It has infact quietened down a little now, but is still too loud for me. The other thing thats bugging me now is how she sounds ticking over becaue of it all being stainless steel and it is still tractor like, sounds like a motorbike really haha but I do like that you can hear how cammed she is

With a good exhaust and decat pipe power I should be pushing around 165 bhp. She is now decat, has a stainless steel 2.5" pipe custom system from the manifold back, added a back box but she is still too loud so we are putting a mid box back in. This is still going to be a restriction for her, even I can feel it when driving her and I know I'm gonna have fueling issues.

Expected - 155 bhp

Actual -

The other box couldn't be done in time for this as he had other welding commitments.

I still think I'm expecting too much but we'll see and I'll let you know how she gets on

id be disappointed if i didnt see at least 160 with the bvh,

my old g40 got 151 atw. on a half shagged charger, and all the usual mods, but no bvh.

cant emphasise importance of basic setup though, ignition timing and CO pot mainly.

V1s are for fast road use and have fixed dampings, the V2s are for fast road also but are the sport type I think that have adjustable rebound rates. I looked at all you see. I was going to go for the V3's but didn't see the point in the extra money as I will only be driving my G on the roads and they are built mainly for track
