not gunna put any protection on the dishes....just gunna polish them with autosol regularly! I've finished all the dishes and I'm gunna paint the centers tonight!!!

haha I'm doing them trust me!!! I have no fingers left from yesterday....was literally polishing and preping all day!!! Tomorrow....coilovers and wheels on....I'm keeping their new colour a secret for now...

mine were reacting with something to....but I've sorted them now...they are nearly finished!! Just need to get down the scarppy and get some longer wheel bolts of a merc or what ever i can find...!

yeah I've got 5mm spacers at the back and 3mm spacers at the front!! The wheels are 15x8 et30! So my overall offsets will be et25 on the back and et27 on the front!! et13 will stick out quite a bit yeah!!! I'm sooo pissed of now as i couldnt find any longer wheel bolts at the scrappy! Any suggestions anyone..>!??!

shit they're the same as my 8's on the back!! you are gunna have to get some 165's or something if you dropping your 6n?? I really need thinner tyres...very anoyed I went for 195's and not 175's or 185's!!! I want to go lower!!! I definatly need longer bolts, there's only about 5 threads going into the hub

i got mine from motorworld, he just had a big box full of them!

you do need longer bolts though however small the spacer, i had an incident a last year which involved a wheel trying to escape my car as i didnt use longer bolts as craig (walshc) told me too

damn...all the motorworld shops are miles away from me!! I'm definatly not driving it without them, i cant afford to fix anything if it goes wrong!!

well i had to have my hub rethreaded (helicoiled) which isnt that cheap

Ok update as promised! Basically I got my 6n m.o.t'd, taxed and insured and buzzed it home to fit all the things that have been waiting to go on for the past 5 months!!! I fitted the coilovers over about 3 days due to the stupid nuts being so siezed up....I then managed to finish refurbing my keskin wheels last thursday....I put them on my car and I'm really not feeling the stance they are giving.....my arches arnt rolled/pulled so i wont be able to have it that low and i just cant be assed with all the hastle....SO I'm repainting my old wheels and planning to slam the car on them as low as it will go, i fancy a bit of tuck tbh :-D ....hopefully all will be ready around the end of next week.....anyways heres all the pics from last week.....

If i could have it this low on these wheels then I would be keeping them....

I'll post some pictures of the finished wheels....they look mint but I'm really not feeling them on my car due to the fact that they dont fit to well and i cant have it low enough! So I have a set of Keskin Kt8's, 15x8, et30....polished lip, smoothed spokes, gunmetal centres, smoothed centre caps for sale/swaps!!! Anyone interested....message me! I'm looking for some 14's!!

So plan for next week is to repaint my old wheels and put them back on the car....sort the stance and get the tracking done....hopefully I will have my bumpers sprayed up by next weekend to...the plan is the fit the rear one as soon as its finished....and then I'll fit the front one when I have a gti splitter...I'm going to smooth my aerial off as well to!

Any comments welcome....suggestions on colours for my old wheels are needed!!

Aw gutted about the wheels mate - thats what i did with my G60's! got them on wound the collies all the way down tried to drive off and scrubbed my way half way down the street :(

The golo has been painted and is in final assembly- isnt a page for it as it just would take over mine and other peoples lives looking at the pictures lol. il do one once its finished.

UPDATE:

I finished refurbing my MIM's (again), but to a better standard this time and they look alot better now! I swapped the tyres onto the MIM's and they fit perfectly in the arches....put it this way I've got it as low as it will go without the car sitting on rubber :biggrin: !! Ide say its down about 70-80mm on the back and 85-90mm down on the front...

It rides pretty well and isnt to inpractical, only rubbing at high speeds when going over big dips....the cat cover does scrape over speed bumps and humps, which I was very happy about considering I've never been this low !

BAD NEWS....went to get the tracking done and they couldnt even fit the bracket things over the tyres as they are tucket into the arches....then we lifted it a touch and they just managed to squeeze them in...BUT they track rod ends are seriously fucked, like proper seezed up...so I've got to go pick up some new ones and get them fitted and hope to god that the thread cleans up well on the track rod so the tracking can be adjusted....if it dosnt...i'll have to get a new stearing rack...but i dont even want to think about that right now....hopefully all will go well....as soon as thats done....gunna give her a polish and hopefully take a few good pics......

everything is sorted!! Gunna take some pictures tomorrow and get them up....!!
