I quite like the tinted phrase. I dont get people calling eachother 'black and white',we're not,we're all brown. And the tint of that brown depends on the melanin in our skin - needed for UV protection on the strength of the sun so many previous generations endured.

So describing skin colour by its tint seems pretty darn tip-toe level already,to me.

Cant you just push it out from the inside to tone down the damage? As you say,its a hack and doesnt need to be mint - you'll never get the paint shade right unless you spend money and a bodged repair can look worse than a mildly warped panel.

dont think you could reach that low dude, the rear seat bit and the fuel tank thingybob gets in the way. could have a go thought, whip out the doorcard an get a crowbar with a tea towel wrapped round the end shoved in there somewhere

one of my mates at the local garage has a propper strong suction type clamp that they use on stuff like this,maybe you could pull it out to make it less noticeable?

or you could always use one of those dent pullers,the ones that you drill a small hole in the panel, screw the end of the puller in and start pulling,they look a like THIS!.

For small,sharp dents,i drill a small hole and weld a rod into it - then pull the rod,and cut it off. But this is a large-area push,and should be treated like an inside-out rubber spoon. Get a sink plunger on the spot it was hit at,and create a reverse action - pulling out the point it was pushed in. This wont sort any crease marks,though.

Oh the blood boils, rush hour in bradford, and some tinted brother in a m reg merc pulls out to cross main lane of traffic and clipped back end of birds car, pushed her out of way, then floored it, off he goes...
