Wiring Problems With Fk Angel Eyes

i recently bought some fk angel eyes for my 6n polo. it says they will fit 4 or 7 pin. the lights have a 7 pin conector on the end and my wires from the body are four pin with just four wires. has anyone overcome this problem and how do i get around it do i cut n solder the wires? but what would the spare three do. my polo is a mk4 6n 1.0L many thanks algis
